The Minstrels return to Fraggle Rock and Mokey leaves her friends to join them. As she travels with the minstrels, Mokey learns that to become a true minstrel, one must possess special qualities and invest lots of time and effort in the process. A giant egg from the Gorgs garden lands in the middle of Fraggle Rock. Mokey is too excited at the prospect of becoming a minstrel to be aware that her friends will miss her terribly, especially her best friend, Red. Cantus and his troupe sing "Music Makes Us Real (Ping!)" to Mokey and explain how they travel throughout Fraggle Rock uniting Fraggles with music. Meanwhile, Doc buys himself a saxophone and takes lessons from its instructions. She takes off with the Minstrels, but Cantus, their cryptic leader, makes her doubt that she really has the dedication to follow this path. ' Though Cantus made several solo visits, the minstrels returned as a group in 'Mokey and the Minstrels' and ' The Honk of Honks. Led by Cantus the Minstrel, they were introduced in ' The Minstrels. When the minstrel leader Cantus hears Mokey singing and compliments her, she believes that she must have what it takes to become a minstrel. When the traveling Minstrels make another visit, Mokey decides she's always wanted to be a Minstrel, too. The Minstrels are a group of wandering musicians on Fraggle Rock. In this episode, Mokey learns a lesson about the importance of listening. The Minstrels return to Fraggle Rock and Mokey leaves her friends to join them as their guest.
